INJ is a PC-based measurement system that monitors the performance of a test of four injectors and combustion engine cuts out when certain critical conditions. The test bench allows you to capture, view, edit and record the values of variables such as acceleration, currents, temperatures and pressures during the course of a test on four injectors for each injection cycle.
The hardware / software system is able to detect some of the functional characteristics of the component tested (injector), allowing an assessment of any changes after repeated cycles of operation and to highlight the occurrence of such failures does not open, not closed, a faulty circuit and the fuel system.
By
a specific targeting by the software acquisitions
received from the accelerometer, you can control
Every single moment of opening and closing the valve
in order to show any abnormal behavior
or defects in time.
If the acceleration are extracted information about
mechanical behavior, the current measurement
you can monitor the subsystem electrical / electronic
and assess the damage to the coil, as well as to calibrate
and optimize the set-injector driver.
The reading of temperature and pressure, on the one hand ensures
that the test conditions are within the limits set,
also ensuring that the emergence of situations
generate critical alarm conditions that may be
managed with different levels of ntervento.
In addition to real-time visualization of individual
channels, having to perform a test of endurance and then
a large number of cycles (600 million), were born two
requirements:
- Provide the operator with the possibility of
define alarm conditions that signal the
occurrence of particular events, and stop automatically
the test in order to ensure the safety and validity
thereof.
- Record to a log file for a re-measures
Next.
A
very important feature of the software is
that you can make backups of partial
all acquisitions made in a given cycle
to:
- To have detailed information on the profiles
quantities of otherwise non-deductible from the file
log.
- Compare the different behaviors due to
fatigue induced by a succession of
operating cycles.
- Analyze and identify the possible causes of a
breakage.
